Chemical Fertilization
Williams Landscapes uses a custom designed lawn program that consists of liquid and granular products. Our products are applied not only by the calendar, but also but seasonal changes.
Weed Control
Our flowerbed treatments are designed to control all the unwanted weeds in your perfectly manicured beds. In a bed setting weeds take on a different meaning, weeds in your bed space are unwanted grasses (Bermuda, Crabgrass etc.). We apply a pre-emergent to the flowerbed areas to control broad leaf weeds so your flowerbeds will look their best.
Fertilization
- Fertilizing the lawn is essential to maintain the beautiful green color that is desired in your lawn.
- Fertilizing the lawn helps promote a thicker sod, which provides a more comfortable feel, reduces infestations of weeds, and improves water use efficiency.
- Fertilizing the lawn encourages root growth, which prepares the lawn to deal with environmental stresses such as extreme heat or cold.
Core-Aeration
Core aeration is essential part of a quality turf program. This process punches holes in the turf canopy then pulls out a 2-3” plug of soil. Of the many benefits the main one is relief of soil compaction. Core aeration allows water and nutrients to go directly to the root zone where they are needed the most. This helps with a greener, healthier looking yard.
Testing Your Soil
Our program includes soil testing of your lawn for pH and nutrient levels. This enables us to apply the nutrients your lawn needs at the proper time.
Lime is a soil additive that keeps the pH at the proper level to ensure all nutrients are properly utilized in the soil. If pH levels indicate that lime is needed, we will apply it to ensure the best soil environment for your lawn.
